National Young Farmers Coalition is a 501(c)3 nonprofit intersectional coalition that works for justice and collective liberation of our food and farm systems. They champion policies that resource connections to the land and foster our health in the face of climate crisis.

GEOGRAPHIC REACH: National

LAND ACCESS PROGRAM: Land access is the number one barrier holding growers back, disproportionately so for BIPOC. The National Young Farmers Coalition gathers advocates to help lead conversations in Washington calling out the need for farmland protection, federal land access, financial credits and support for farm viability. With nearly half of US farmland changing hands in the next two decades now is the time to act to secure a more just and equitable future for young farmers. This program also supports young farmers with grants to aid in growing infrastructure and establishing their business.
