Johnny's Selected Seeds is a rapidly growing, mail-order and web-based, employee-owned seed company located in rural Central Maine. We operate from a certified-organic research farm in Albion, Maine, as well as from offices in nearby Winslow and Fairfield. We're just across the Kennebec River from the town of Waterville, home of Colby and Thomas Colleges and the Maine International Film Festival. AR Accountant
The AR accountant is responsible for all bank, credit card, reconciliations within our systems. This role will also process customer invoices, credits, statements. In addition, this role will provide support during the monthly close process, year-end tasks and annual audits. He or She will also provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support better financial performance metrics.

Farm Technician I – Contact Center
This position is a role that supports the Research and Production team in growing and maintenance of variety trials, breeding workshops, and seed production crops at the Albion Research facility and surrounding contracted fields during the growing season. During the off-season, this position requires rotating to the Fairfield Contact Center and will support our customer service operations. This is a full-time, hourly position, reporting to the Assistant Farm Manager and rotating to the Contact Center in the off season. The starting wage is $17.00 an hour with the chance of additional stipends upon rotation to the Contact Center. The start date for this role is the beginning of May.

Johnny's is seeking a Full-Time Operations Team Leader / Seed Packing for our Evening Shift. This position is located at the Winslow, Maine facility. The standard hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm. Team Leaders are responsible for overseeing the workflow, setting the pace, and assisting the supervisor in daily work functions.

Pollination Crew Member
The pollination crew members work with the Squash & Pumpkin Breeding Team to accomplish peak field season tasks for our 6-acre winter squash, summer squash, and pumpkin breeding nursery. These tasks include hand pollinating, weeding, mulching, and performing other crop care as needed.

The Seed Production Technician is responsible for the production and oversight of parental line Foundation Seed for Johnny's proprietary vegetable and flower seed varieties.
