Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting personnel as well as records, and processes and verifying financial reporting accuracy in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This role is responsible to monitor compliance with various regulatory bodies, as well as review, direct and ensure proper monthly close process, year-end tasks and annual audits. The Accounting Manager is also responsible to provide financial analysis and reports to support better financial performance metrics. This position is full-time on-site in Fairfield, Maine for the first 90 days, with a hybrid option available.

Operations Associate - Inventory/Warehouse

Johnny's is currently seeking Operations Associates for our Day Shift. This position will primarily work in the Inventory/Warehouse/Shipping areas and may be required to cross-train in the Seed Packing department. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has excellent organizational skills. Standard hours for Day Shift are Monday through Friday, 5:50 am -2:20 pm. Overtime may be required depending on production needs. Starting pay for Day Shift is $17.00 per hour.

Johnny's is currently seeking a Full-Time Operations Associates for our Evening Shift. This position will primarily work in the Warehouse/Shipping department but may be required to cross-train in the Seed Packing area. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has excellent organizational skills. Standard hours for Evening Shift are Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm -11:00 pm. Product Manager

The Product Manager (PM) manages the Johnny's Selected Seeds (JSS) commercial product line offering to the customer. The PM guides and manages the product life cycle from introducing new varieties to the catalogue, through the active life of a product, to product phase out. The role includes developing commercial product line strategies for assigned crops, identifying alternatives for key products, setting annual trial goals for the Product Development (PD) trials, evaluating product performance with the Product Trialing & Plant Breeding Teams, and developing technical support information for the customer. The PM is a cross functional position and works with departments outside of Research &Development (R&D) to coordinate and align product status with promotions and with the logistics of product delivery to the customer. This is a Full-time salary position based in Albion, ME.
