Johnny's Selected Seeds is a rapidly growing, mail-order and web-based, employee-owned seed company located in rural Central Maine. We operate from a certified-organic research farm in Albion, Maine, as well as from offices in nearby Winslow and Fairfield. We're just across the Kennebec River from the town of Waterville, home of Colby and Thomas Colleges and the Maine International Film Festival. Operations Associate (2nd Shift, Seasonal)

Operations Supervisor (Warehouse)

Product Manager
The Product Manager (PM) manages the Johnny's Selected Seeds (JSS) commercial product line offering to the customer. The PM guides and manages the product life cycle from introducing new varieties to the catalogue, through the active life of a product, to product phase out. The role includes developing commercial product line strategies for assigned crops, identifying alternatives for key products, setting annual trial goals for the Product Development (PD) trials, evaluating product performance with the Product Trialing & Plant Breeding Teams, and developing technical support information for the customer. The PM is a cross functional position and works with departments outside of Research &Development (R&D) to coordinate and align product status with promotions and with the logistics of product delivery to the customer. This is a Full-time salary position based in Albion, ME.

Research Assistant
As a Research Assistant, during the growing season you are responsible for supporting Johnny's seed trialing team. Duties include assisting with trial establishment, data collection, crop care/maintenance, data entry, preparation for internal and external presentations and supplier visits. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. Approximately 75% of the year will be spent on Johnny's Research Farm and the balance at either our warehouse in Winslow or our call center in Fairfield.
