Organic Black Spanish radish.

This elite strain is much more uniform and tolerant to bolting than the ordinary Black Spanish variety. The black-skinned, round roots may be harvested from 2–4" and have crisp, spicy, white flesh. Suitable for sowing midspring (soil temp. 60°F/16°C or higher to prevent bolting) through fall. Medium-long storage. USDA Certified Organic.

CULTURE:

Specialty and Daikon/Korean radishes require friable, well-drained soils with a pH range of 5.8–6.8. For long types, work soil deeply, in raised beds if possible, for straight roots and ease of harvest. Note planting seasons in variety descriptions to reduce bolting.
