The large fruit is of the highest quality—the sweetest of all the purple raspberries. Delicious eaten fresh or used in preserves. May be picked as an immature red berry or left to mature to fully purple ripe. Very productive plants with long canes. Insect resistant. The Experiment Station in Geneva, New York released Royalty Purple in 1982. Grows best in Zones 4–8. 1 Unit = 1 plant.
