OVERVIEW: Join us as we journey into the world of squash! Our presenters, Lindsay and Nate, will cover types and species of winter and summer squash and highlight varieties from our breeding program and why they are favorites among farmers and gardeners. We'll also share tips for harvesting and storing winter squash to enjoy peak flavor and extended shelf life.
We've been passionate about breeding squash for market farmers and avid gardeners for decades. Lindsay and Nate will provide a behind-the-scenes look at our breeding program, a little history, and insights into current squash breeding work at Johnny's. A Q&A session will take place after the presentation, when our presenters will respond to questions from the audience. Register today!
