'Astronaut Andre Kuipers' Tulip

This is an early flowering triumph tulip. This is 'Astronaut Andre Kuipers'. The blooms are a nice combination of kind of a rosy pink and then apricot and orange shades on the inside. One of the things that's interesting about this variety as a triumph tulip is that the blooms are semi double, so there're a couple layers of petals here.

The way that the petals unfurl, kind of folding outwards, gives the blooms a really nice full look. That's another thing that made this variety stand out in our trials. Also nice long straight stems, bright glowing blooms and very uniform in both flowering time and flower form. So again, 'Astronaut Andre Kuipers', a really nice, uniform, early-flowering triumph tulip.
